ETRAIN: Digital audio in the class and out
My project has five phases, working concurrently where practicable:
1. Hardware: finding the best quality/ least intrusive/ most transparent/ cheapest recording equipment available.
2. Software: learning how to use the best audio freeware available–Audacity.
3. System: developing a system of recording that is automatic , secure, and time effective.
4. Purposes: expand classroom uses for audio from capturing class information into other areas (mini-lessons, emails, paper grading, student engagement, inclusion) and to others (ETRAIN, FACET, English faculty)
5. Money: uncover money sources to extend this to others within the university.
